The Flyers and Penguins will face off outside later this month for the NHL's Stadium Series, and today we have a concept for that game from Vaughn. Starting with the Flyers, I like how the outlines on the logo match the striping pattern, and I'm also a big fan of the orange helmet. The idea to change up the number font was a good one, but without outlines it looks too flat compared to the rest of the jersey. As for the Penguins, I've always been a fan of their diagonal wordmark, and the white numbers help differentiate this jersey from their regular look. However, for a Stadium Series game I'd prefer a striping pattern that's a bit more different than this.
